The cat's name - TS Elliot
E 'a difficult task, I can swear,
Putting a name to cats ...
At first glance you might also think
What is crazier than a mule, or I have an opinion
Anything but peaceful,
If I tell you a cat must have at least
THREE DIFFERENT NAMES. First,
A family name, that every day can be used
A name like Peter or as Augustus, Alonzo or Diodato,
as Victor or Jonathan, or as William Joseph Pascutto,
All names meaningful, useful in all circumstances cats.
But if you think they sound more pleasant
most imaginative names you can recommend, for
Some gentlemen, some for beautiful ladies tailor made:
Names such as Plato and Admetus, Electra or Philodemus,
And these sensible, useful in all circumstances to cats.
But I tell you, all cats need to have a name
What is special and unique, much more dignified,
that allow each to keep his tail perpendicular
And to showcase his long mustache, and feel proud.
names of these species can invent a thousand,
Names like Scapicchio, and Burbax Sfrondapille. How
Bombalurina, and Tisquà ss Ciprincolta,
Names that are good for only one cat.
However, in the middle to many, still lacks a name,
name that you can not guess certain: Name
that human research can never find
and the cat KNOWS, and will never want to trust.
When you see a cat immersed in meditation based,
Always the same, I swear, is the reason:
His mind is lost in rapture and contemplation
of thought, thought, thought of his name: His ineffable
effable
Effineffabile
Deep and inscrutable name only.
My cat is called Naomi and newcomer Louis.
