Binoculars
In those days I was in Italy DNA, the hall of the new technologies applied to cultural heritage, which was held in Turin. I discovered several interesting features, both in the field of restoration and conservation, as well as of use mediated by electronic devices and digital. One of the most interesting is the "binoculars time" developed by a foundation Piedmont Ultramundum, particularly specialized in interactive 3D graphics. The binoculars showed that lets you experience impressive: according to the creative Ultramundum be placed outdoors, near cultural property. You can rotate left and right, up and down, looking for that place on the display with a resolution of the image as it was in ancient times very high. In addition, when you point an object, you see the historical information and artistic works that make the virtual tour is also useful in terms of teaching. The binocular is still a prototype, but the foundation has already developed the 3D graphics of the historical center of Rome: The image below shows the square in front of the Colosseum, with the statue of Nero, as was to be in the first century after Christ.
